Blisters Help

Recommended Posts

Recently I have been trying to learn to pedal kick and it is the only thing that has been stopping me from progressing with trials. I have blisters on my hands which means i cant lift the bars up because they hurt. (N)

Has anyone got any ideas on how you can stop yourself from getting blisters on your hands as often other than gloves or new grips.

Thanks

Maybe try different grips?

I know the Echo grips I had have given me awful calluses. I just call them working hands though ;)

I've moved onto Trial tech foams now but not ridden with them yet to compare.

Just wear gloves until they've healed.

Edit: just saw u said without new grips. :/

Let them heal, go again. Each time it happens your skin is getting tougher, it's just a pain we all go through at the beginning.

Surgical spirit will help them toughen up quicker though.

Just gotta keep going... They'll turn from blisters into calluses in no time. You and your missus should get used to them, as they'll be around for your whole trials career.

Gloves and soft grips (soft rubber or foam) will help, but once they harden up there'll be no pain and oh so much gain.
