Try-All Stiky Tyres 20"

hey

i really need a new tyre now and dont know if the Try All sticky is any good.

if someone could tell me how long it is likely to last before i need to replace it, i will go for it.

if not, i will go for front and rear maxxis creepy crawler.

is that a better choice or are there better ones?

No one can tell you how long it will last as it totally depends on how you ride, what you ride, how often you ride, tyre pressures, etc etc. Pretty sure the Maxxis super tacky compound and the try-all compound is the same durometer.

I ride almost every day, and have Try-All tyres. I run them quite squidgy, and they're just about bald after 8-10 weeks.

The less you ride, and harder you run them, the longer they'll last.

They are absolutely brilliant, performance-wise though. SO grippy, and I folded my rim the other day without getting a pinch.

Wear quicker than other tyres, but if you can afford them, totally worth it for the performance gain.

If you can't warrant the cash, Nothing much wrong with Maxxis. Still pretty grippy, and just a bit less pinch protction.

If try-all is too expensive, i'd buy Eagle claw rather than maxxis. Of course maxxis are cheaper, but monty's tyres are wider and have better compound, in my opinion (talking about rear).
