Jackk-08
Hi I have a problem with my front disc brake as everytime the wheel spins it squeels as if it's rubbing on the pad. I've had a fiddle with the quick release to make sure it's not tighter one side than the other but it seems to have made no difference :/ is the any little trip or something else you can think of to why it is squeeling? stya_bear
Maybe your rotor is abit bent/warped, or you may need to readjust your brake
Revolver
It must mean the disc is rubbing on the pad. Is it a constant sound or an intermittent sound? If it's constant - First, open and close the quick release with the bike the right way up, you didn't say if you did it the right way up or not. Not fixed? Second, providing it has a post mount, undo the bolts attaching it to the adaptor, and reposition the caliper so it's not rubbing on the disc. You can tell by looking. If it's a hope, you may need to take it off and pop some washers under the bolts on one side to achieve the same thing. That should fix it if it's constant, but if it's not, get back to us. If it's not constant - Spin the wheel, find where the disc rubs on the pads, notice which side the disc is bent to, then apply pressure to the disc to the opposite side, until it's straight. Try not to overdo it, but you can always push it back if you do it too much. Make sure there's no oil on your fingers when you do this, lol. aener
Make sure there's no oil on your fingers when you do this, lol. Even better - slot an adjustable spanner over it. Also easier as you get more leverage

Jackk-08
Thanks for all the help guys, ive sorted it now I just opened the brake fluid res up and removed all the fluid, then pushed the pistons right back into the caliper as far as they would go then bleed the brakes to what they needed to be like and it has stopped the squeek, just been on a small ride and it didnt make a noise once so touch wood its sorted it now Thanks once a gain
