Matt Vandart
So you put it in the oven. What heat? How long? And does the pad material melt?
Luke Rainbird
Chuck 'em in, turn it on to 180 or so and by the time it's up to temperature the bond should be broken enough to pull out. If not, give them another minute or two Remember the backings/pad material will be hot! If they're not glued in and just pressed of course then you can just pull them out
Matt Vandart
Cool thanks Luke. It's TNN's. are they bonded?
Luke Rainbird
I couldn't tell you off the top of my head unfortunately, so I'll have to suggest the usual: Give it a jolly good tug and see if anything comes out... Edit; a quick look on Tarty suggests that yes, they are bonded
Matt Vandart
Cool, So what do I use to rebond it? Standard Cyanoacrylate? Any particular brand that is bestest?
trialsmax04
Super glue None if your feeling manly.....
Luke Rainbird
If it's a decent interference fit then they'll be fine without any, but if you want that extra piece of mind a drop of cyano will do the trick just fine

Matt Burrows
Just put them in a pan of boiling water for 3 minutes or so, far easier and quicker!
Ross McArthur
And make sure all the old glue is out of the backing before putting new stuff in.
