pablotrial
hello,, my doubt is, will a short bike with a long stem and a high rise bar be the same as a long bike with a "normal" stem?(we are talking about mod) i mean, if the same force(ie, doing a gap) is done to a shorter frame with a long stem or to a longer frame with a normal stem (the reach is the same in both), wich one would go farther?? aparte from that, i ride a neon bow, and its wb is 1020 with echo urban fork, but im 1,75 mts(68.9") and i feel it kinda short do you think its worth gettin the ttech high rise bars?? how its gonna affect my riding? my current stem is a viz forged(175x35*) and zoo riser bars also i cant change my frame thanks! pablo

Canardweb
It might be personal preference, but on my stock bike, I like having a normal wheelbase (I am 1 meter 85 so 1085 is perfect) but with a long stem for example 150 mm. I feel it is much more comfy when on the back wheel and it gives you the advantage of being high positionned compared to the obstacle. It's also better for moves on the front wheel, as it needs much less effort to stay on the front wheel. Overall I find it more stable. There might be some negatives points (such as bad positionning on the bike), otherwise, everybody would do it, but I like it.
