thispartisrequired
Right, i have been wondering what the differences are between them, other than the nice colours, i got a pair today that work for a good price and this has made me wonder even more. So what are the differences?
Dan Clark
No difference at all, just colour.
Revolver
You can spot them from further away. People on TF seem to like them. The old style lever has a TPA that's more vulnerable from breaking if you fall off, but it's easier to replace. The newer lever's TPA is nice and out of the way, but it's easy to crossthread it because it's plastic, depending on how you use it.
thispartisrequired
Yeah these are the old school ones (04?), the ones with the lever in line with the piston as opposed to at 90 degrees. Why do people pay more for them then?

Why do people pay more for them then? Sane people don't. Few on here have this idea that they will become super rare and worth a fortune, i highly doubt this. Dan Clark
Fashion victims and they aren't as common because they haven't been popular as a colour for nearly 10 years now people have started colour coordinating their bikes. 04 levers are much nicer than 05 levers in my opinion, just don't be a flid and overtighten the TPA and you'll be fine. Revolver
The fresh products lever blade for o4 levers is pimp! That's the only reason why I have one Actually, the other reason is because I got given it in exchange for money I was owed for a booster. Dan Clark
I'm calling the people who pay over the odds for them fashion victims Especially since CLS had one at one point IIRC and loads of northern wannabes bought them all up. Colours are overrated anyway, all black, white and silver > *
thispartisrequired
call me ignorant but what are CLS & IIRC?
