Joshtp
Hey all, new here! Have been riding normall MTB for a few years, but have recently got hold of a T-pro from a few years back, with a fully custom pro set up used by Jamie White a few years back. That connection was a pretty sweet find.... The point is, i now need to lear to actually ride it, and find out what I need. First on my list is shoes (i have all the protection stuff from normal riding), I need these shoes to be good for both trials, a bit of general chilling and goofing around and to be OK for Skating the morning paperround. Im pretty skint, so my shoes need to multitask. On the trials front im pressuming a slightly flexy soft, taky rubber sole is the best option. So far my thoughts have been: 5.10 Freriders - pretty much perfect from what i can see, but expensive, and im not sure what the lifespan is like. Duffs 4130's (or whatever they are called) - again pretty good, prob not as grippy as the 5.10's though, but they are cheaper. Vans of some description from TK.Maxx - pretty cheap, and generally comfy and quite grippy, the simplest option. so what d'yall think? BTW, you may know me from BikeRadar..... Jamie_Trials
Ever considered some Nike Renzo's or something like that? Had mine for a few month and still nothing happened to them.
Mockett
if you wont to be a trials rider you also haft to wear skinny jeans and listen to death metal (this is a joke)

Dan@HisOnzaPro
I have been riding for about a 2 months in air mogans (nike 6.0 Mid tops) the are really good as they cover a bit more of your leg and are really comfortable, but really i need some other cheper shoes to ride in as my pedals are killing them
Matthew_Gibson
another one for 6.0. they have a decent amount of rubber in the sole, so u dont get the pedals making holoes in them. DVS Mutants have a really thin sole. Most skate shoes have an "air" shock in them or they say.... DONT get pikie boots, you'll look like a tard! nickdonboy
if you wont to be a trials rider you also haft to wear skinny jeans and listen to death metal (this is a joke) You're a mong. Stilettos are fairly good. Try 'em.
Matt Vandart
Go with 5 tens they are amazing, grip is amazing, wear is amazing, I've got the stealth freerunning ones, they are a bit more compact which is better for trials.
