Hendrix
As some of you may remember, 2008 and 2009 were my years of doing non stop remixing and submitting to record companies. Having realised the competition in that section of the industry I imminently gave up and moved onto development. Anyway, searching through some old compilation CDs tonight I came across two old remixes and I found a cd of a tune which I never let hit the internet. Firstly; Madonna Remix Link here.. It was done overnight in a makeshift studio but still cut it enough to be put on a compilation CD somehow. Some of you may like it, some of you may hate it. Secondly; Rhianna Remix Link here.. Umbrella has never sounded so good, or bad, or whatever. Had fun making it, it got on the back of a dodgy record company's promo cd somehow! Finally; Travelling Song Story behind this is, I was travelling upto London a lot at the time so I've got an hour minimum on the train. Didn't have Logic (early 2007) at the time, so used the free program that comes with all Macs 'Garageband'. All inbuilt synths, all mixing done in Garageband (suppose that's why it's bassy). Don't think any of you have heard this before! Enjoy! Link here.. Listening back to these has also made me realise how much better my mixing is now, as those tracks are shocking frequency wise!
