Ali C
mountain king, best tyre?? Are you feeling ok? Kendas are also some of the worst I have used. Der Kaiser for the sheer grip, stability and puncture protection, no tyre comes close. I now think the Trials king has overtaken the try-all tyre for the top spot on the front now too. Matt Vandart
Ali Ker was rubbishing mountain Kings the other day also. Now I know I'm no where near the level of you guys but I have had no problems with my mountain King supersonic on any of my bikes. Rubber queen, now there is a shit tyre. I'm wondering what those michelin tyres are like? Michelin used to be the tyre o choice 'back in the day' mostly from the french riders influence I would have saidhave these been improved at all? josh barker
are kenda nevegal tyres any good then? yes, i run single ply front and rear and im not the smoothest rider around and havnt had one puncture. the wear life is good had them on for about 4-5 month and the little lines on the blocks of tread havnt even worn off. the grip is just immense even on wet rocks and any other terrain. edit: i run the stickee compound too. the dtc is also good too Edited August 7, 2010 by josh barker
Juan Manuel
I've got a kenda navigal ST dual ply on the rear (stock). I never have punctures and it's long-lasting but is FAR TOO HEAVY and it does't bounce rightly. It does have a lot of grip but not proably compared with a Der Kraiser and so..
