netto
Episodes 5 and 6 have been on richmondtrials.com for a while now. I forgot to post them here. I've also just finished episode 7. Enjoy! Episode 5 : This episode is longer than the previous ones at 20 minutes. Featuring Jeff Anderson, Chris Hii, Kevin Liu and Ross Winsor (his name did not render in the video). The last two segments were filmed in Seattle, Washington.Episode 6 : It's been 4 episodes since Canadian Champion John Webster has been featured. I took a ferry to Nanaimo to deliver John's brand new Kortz 2 frame, and spent the day filming some of the most amazing riding (I'm referring to both John's ability and the terrain) I have ever seen in person. Featuring : Chris Jenkins - Rockman Slate Kevin Liu - Custom Rockman Slate 2 John Webster - 2009 Echo Control Music : Coldplay - Don't Panic Death Cab for Cutie - Grapevine Fires Phoenix - LisztomaniaEpisode 7 : This episode features Jeff's new Watermelon Meta VTT2. The frame has been lightened from 1900g to 1600g. This was done by grinding the tubes thinner, and removing the disc tab. The cutout on the headtube was also enlarged. The idea first spawned when we had a customer return his VTT2 due to paint defects. We wanted to see if it was possible to lighten a bike without spending any extra money. By the time Jeff finished grinding, the frame was hideous. Chris then suggested that the frame be painted like a watermelon, an idea that was inspired by a flamboyant limousine we saw earlier in the day. Jeff has had a dozen rides on the frame now, and it is still holding up fine (Jeff is rather harsh on frames). It will be interesting to see how the bike holds up for Whistler Trials Works in two weeks. Riders : Alex Le - Rockman Slate (Blue) Chris Hii - Rockman Slate 2 (Gold) Kevin Liu - Rockman Slate 2 (Custom) Anthony Fader - Rockman Aurem (Black) Jeff Anderson - Meta VTT2 (Watermelon) Music : The XX - Heart Skipped a Beat Tegan and Sara - Alligator (Toro Y Moi Remix) Tegan and Sara - Paperback Head The Zolas - You're Too Cool Cold War Kids - Relief Edited August 6, 2010 by netto

ellingtj
Jeff, Where is the river filmed in Episode 7?
netto
I don't think Jeff checks the thread, but the river section is in lynn valley. That would be in North Vancouver.

Cheers Netto, I've failed to get out on any real natural when I've been in Van city so I think I'll head up there next time I'm over. Any natural down in the flat land that is Richmond? - why oh why did my inlaws move from Port Moody to Richmond?
