moff
I've always been interestedd in trials bikes, and i've got really interested in one now. i need a bike, i know abit about trials bike, but still havent decided on whether to get a 20"/ 24" / 26". would it be better to start with a 20" or does it not matter. i'm also 6'3 am i to tall to suit a 20" or would i look out of place. i also need to find quite a cheap bike to start of with but of course a decent one. any ideas? TRD
Since your 6'3", id get a stock(26"), mods(20") are usually easier to learn on, but since ur so tall, get a stock 24" are usually for streety trils, unless you got a becasue 24" pure trials, or a rockman traktor or something like that, those frames are for pure trials, but id stick with a stock if i were you
Big Ben
To Be Hounest mate, it's completely up to whatever you feel most compftible with. I know some whos 6 foot and rides mod (20). And I'm only 5 ft, 3, and I ride just as good as my tall mate. So I hope that helps. From Ben
Maladie
I agree, stocks aren't quite as easy to learn on as mods but as you're so tall, a mod might not be great either, you would just look and feel really cramped over the bike. Have a look on: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk to find something that takes your fancy
the
I'm just shy of six foot and I ride a mod comfortably! Do you have any mates who ride trials who's bikes you can have a go on to get the feel of?

Im 6'4" and i ride one.
trialsmadman
hi, my advise is get a 26" because of your height but a 20" would be easier to hop and through around but thats just my personal opinion your the one who will be riding it bye for now, trialsmadman
Luke Dunstan
The measurement between the BB and the bars is roughly the same, so how would you be cramped?

moff
cheers for all the input. im leaning towards a 24" or 26", if someone knows where i can get a cheapish bike. because granted the tartbikes.co.uk bikes are nice but dont think i can afford them especially as a beginner. im tempted for something like a 24" inspired fourplay I'm just shy of six foot and I ride a mod comfortably! Do you have any mates who ride trials who's bikes you can have a go on to get the feel of? nah, cocuple of mates have like bmx's, but no trialers. modifiedridah2k9
sorry to seem dumb but i am a newbie Nah its fine, stock bikes are 26" trials bikes. Mods are 20" trials bikes and 24" are just, well, 24" :L
josh barker
if you want to go 24", i would highly recommend the onza zoot 2010. theres a lot of bike for the money. you can get them very cheap from rock'n roll bikes.

JamT
depends also what size bike you are used to riding (smaller bikes like bmx's or bigger bikes like XC bikes). completely up to you what you think would be better for you personally.
