Mr Motivator
I was standing in the door way to my shed and a wasp flew straight past me into the shed, like he knew exactly where he was going, making a bee-line (pun intended) for the corner of the shed. On closer inspection he was wasping away making a nest which was about the size of a golf ball. The next day it was the size of a tennis ball and you could clearly see up inside the nest. The wasp wasn't at home so I battered in his house with a broom handle. Anyway, I think we have another one up in the eaves or in the roof possibly as every time I open the upstairs bathroom window, one or two fly in and go crazy for a plant that's on the window sill. Pictures to follow when I've got my bee suit on. Edited August 4, 2010 by Mr Motivator
arw_86
the council should sort out your nests, they did for us anyway.
MadManMike
Yeah ring your council mate, they do a pest removal service. We had our house treated for fleas when we moved in as the last people somehow missed the millions of them hopping around.
Krisboats
Shovel and a plastic storage box with a sealable lid. Maybe a lockable lid if you're gonna carry it through the house. Or fire [/Alpha]
MMMM-JASON
Or fire [/Alpha] Out side yes the best and most fun choice but wouldn't recomend it in a loft.
Token
If it's your first Wasp nest, the best thing to do is get a broom handle and smash the nest a couple of times whilst shouting 'I LOVE DIP DAB'.
