The 18t freewheel goes on the cranks, any 12t screw on sprocket will do for the rear :)

As said, you want the 18t up front, and 12t on the rear!

If you're somehow stuck with the 18t on the back, then I think 24t would be the closest. That's what my old T-Bird had back in the day, and that seemed alright to me!

27:18 is the same as 18:12 :)
