Borat
Easy guys, Finally got round to servicing my freewheel last night, only to find 6bearings missing, 1 spring snapped and another completly missing. Everything has gone back in the right way, and used a thin wet lube for the bearings. But it's really stiff now. It sounds completly different to before (less engagements) but I'm wondering what has caused the stiffness, I'm thinking either the lockring is too tight, or because of the missing bearings. Someone please help.
PeanuckleJive
Probably the missing bearings, never good to not have the right amount have you put new springs in to replace the damaged ones? When I got my tensile the springs were so good that you couldn't spin it easily
