sandeeebeach219
Hey I have bought myself a Hayes Stroker Ryde hydraulic disc brake brand new off my mate for only £15! But, I'm not too sure if it will fot on my bike. I know i need new forks (which im ordering today, echo urban) and a new hub (i have justordered a whole new wheel) Does a disc brake have to be trials specific to fit on your trials bike? or can it be any disc? Could i get a bit of help please! cheers

Mark W
The disc mount is the same whether it's 4-bolt + disc, V-brake + disc, or disc only. You'll also need an IS to post mount adaptor for that brake, unless it's coming with one.
forteh
Disc calipers are either IS (International Standard) or post mount, 98% of trials bikes use IS caliper mounts. The only thing you need to allow for is forks with a plus mount, that is they take an oversized rotor - a 160 caliper on a +20 disk mount will require a 180 rotor. If youre buying from tarty, they will say on the website if theyre a plus disk mount
