modifiedridah2k9
You can't say how long they last, you haven't had yours very long... I know, but just now when i look at them and i look at some brand new, theres not much difference they havnt really worn down.
liam1992
So what are they like with a grind do they still work as good ?
Canardweb
beddin in time is like a week, depending if you set them up sqaure or not bite n hold is AMAZING on a smooth rim, mines on a trialtech anodized with abit of tar. iv had the same set on for around 8 months and they have a fair bit to go yet... Thanks a lot mate! I had your setups this winter. I couldn't get the noise you have from your brake though... The thing is I now use a grind and I don't have a spare smooth rim, otherwise I definetly would go back to them... Thanks to you! Canardweb
Hoi! Yhese pads are just simply amazing on a grind! Much better hold than the TNN Kenny Belaey, that held like shit if your pads weren't brand new. The angles on the TNN pads make them have like some play so when you're on the back wheel, you can feel like a play which is simply disturbing! So thanks everybody! I won't use any other pads from now!!!

Matt Vandart
They are good pads but I wouldn't say the TNNs hold is shit, maybe just yours are shit.
Canardweb
The Tnn hold is great, but not in comparison to the Heatsink one bud! My grind is pretty old and dirty, the Heatsink pads make more noise than the TNN, and they bite better and they hold better. No other pads can beat the Heatsink ones! TNN is for people who grind every week... Not for me then!

josh barker
Any good in the wet? yes, i run a light/deadish grind and they work the same in the wet as they do dry . the pads are just great
forteh
I used mine in the wet at last years abingdon DJ ride and they were pretty much as good as dry, not quite as much noise (thank god!) but bite and hold were faultless
dann2707
+1 for wet riding. Exactly the same. Can't say the same about my front standard black pads, they are lethal in the rain. But everyone knows that

Mine have an ok hold in the wet and no bite at all. The bite is terrible in the wet, but brilliant in the dry, anybody else got this? The bite is terrible in the wet, but brilliant in the dry, anybody else got this? You need a different grind, a light/medium grind works really well, not too sharp or harsh though. When grinding I just lightly skim the grinder over the surface without any extra pressure and at an angle of about 30 degrees, keeping the angle shallow gives a finer grind which seems to work best for the yellows.
