Canardweb
Hello! I have a set of these pads in my garage, and I am currently using TNN Kenny Belaey pads. The thing I am trying to find out is if it's worth changing for the Heatsink yellows. So I am looking for informations about them. SUch as: -Bedding time (compared to TNN Kenny Belaey if someone had used both would be interesting too...) --> This is the most important information I am looking for! -Bite 'n Hold -Wearing time. Please help me, as I would like to know if the move is interesting. Oh you might want to know why I want to change my pads. It's because I feel that the TNN ones actually slips when the grind is not brand new. So please answer!
forteh
Mine were superb from fitting, great bite and hold, wear rate is good aswell. They bedded in and wore about 2mm off the pad very quickly but they now seem to be wearing very slowly. When the grind dulls off they start to lose some hold, with my dx32 that only occasionally happens and takes 5 mins to regrind. Everyone who has ridden my bike has said how good the brake works, only downside is its very noisy.

forteh
I don't mind the noise. I am still hesitating... For the sake of spending 5 minutes changing the pads why dont you find out yourself? I think I will always use heatsink pads, they just work for me.

Bronz
I popped mine on a smooth rim with the tiniest amount of tar and they held amazingly right from the off. Hardly any wear, super strong hold, and not stupidly noisy. I've never really run a lot of different pads, but I can't ever see myself choosing anything new now, they work, amazingly. josh barker
got mine about a month ago. popped them in (exactly square because of filed mounts and tr mounts) set them up, took about 5 minute and i had a perfect brake. better than all over pads i have used, tryall/koxx reds and yellow, rockman blues in rockman cnc backings and heatsink cnc backings. But by far the heatsinks are miles better, nice fresh light/medium grind and you have bucket loads of bite and hold. as said the first 1-2mm does wear quite quick but its only the bed in stage, afterwards i cant tell theyve worn atall. the heatsink pads have been around for a longtime and still remain the choice of a majority of riders all over the world. Matt Vandart
If you take your tnn's off and give them a quick clean with water and detergent they will work like new. Both TNN's are prone to dust problems in my opinion. Mine work epically on my bike and that is taking into account I absolutely Hate Maggies. Canardweb
If your unsure bout the yellows or you don't like them I'll take em off your hands!! I have three pairs. I keep my TNN Kenny Belaey for now, and when they are dead, I'll try the Yellows! Thanks to all, but you haven't managed to convince me! Greetings
My Yellows aren't that good but that's bound to be something to do with the brake setup or grind. So yeah sorry for posting no relevant information whatsoever

Captain Scarlet
I actually found that these pads work better on a smooth anodised rim with a bit of tar than on a ground rim. Literally gave my rim a grind and it is worse off. Echo Urban rims have the best braking surface imo!
