dannytrialskid
I still Have a few months left on pads, but I want to know what pads are better? Please vote in the poll and comment on why you chose them. I did look at the pad reviews, but I want more recent information on them. Thanks, Danny. EDIT: I have a ground rim! BlueSmokeyJoe
Heatsink Yellows in CNC backings. On a medium sharp grind these pads have loads of bite and excellent hold and seem to last ages, cant honestly remember how old mine are but they have been on 3 different bikes now and have around 3-4mm of material left. All this with refills costing £10 make them excellent value when they eventually wear down!

Jack Morton
Heatsink yellows + smooth rim + tar Any pads work if your using tar. You can even make magura blacks decent with tar. I'm currently running CNC backed heatsink yellows with a dead grind. They are amazing. Great bite and hold.
modifiedridah2k9
Heatsink yellows + smooth rim + tar I was on Ross Mcdonalds bike, he has a DD11 front vee, smooth rim and no tar, he took a lighter to his pads and melted them, best front brake i've ever used thats for sure! Edit: forgot to say, Heatsink yellows also Thanks Heatsink yellows=Best pads EVER! Go heatsink yellows CNC backings and never worry about changing your pads again Edited July 28, 2010 by modifiedridah2k9

Matt Vandart
I have TNN bealeys front and back and they work extremely well even in the wet. They are not as loud as The rockmans (Which is a good thing) I used to have but the rockmans were fkin a-mazing in the wet and dry I'd go as far as saying they worked better in the wet. Back to the ones you have listed, tnn LGM are shit in dusty conditions but the blue bealeys are better. I have never had yellow heatsink hs33 pads but the v brake ones were epic I mean really good. I was talking to Kerr today when we were out riding and he rekons Coust pads are better for dry dusty conditions than rockmans and my bealeys, he knows his shit so thats good enough for me. So basically you cant go wrong with any of them, if you don't mind waiting for yer heatsink pads
modifiedridah2k9
That thing is leathel, you have no idea how many times iv almost flipped over the bars because of it It is very lethal! So loud aswell, to be honest more noise than my liking coming of a front brake, agreed? lol
