bigamac
Right, i work in my LBS so can order from most companies. I don't really know much on parts wise whats good or whats not to have. After some 26" prefably white wheelset, 9speed cassette needed. So yeah, I was looking at the halo tornado wheels, but there out of stock till the end of next month. So ideas, hit me? I have a 10 year old muddy fox slalom pro, used for veryyyyyy light xc, then some trails, jump, you get the jist of what i mean (: £200 being top end maybe £250 for both wheels, Ideas please, luke (:
Dwarf Shortage
Sorry it's totally off topic, but I've just seen the thing under your avatar, well glad I'm not the only one who someone's said that to! *runs away*
trialsmax04
Probably the best wheelset for that price is Hope Pro 2 hubs on something like freedom disc rims. they do a pair on CRC for 250. not sure about colour options though..... craigjames
Try and get some Pro2 hubs from ebay or pink bike and then pick up some rims to go with them, personally i'm not a fan of the Halo stuff, i'd go for some spank rims, tehy seems really good and get great reviews and they;re even in the colours you want. bigamac
Well i got my leg twisted at work to go buy another pro 2 for the rear, already have a spare xc hub sitting here for the front aswell (: Then just gonna buy the halo tornado rims separate and build it up. Once this beast is finally done, shall wack a couple of pictures up (:
trialsmax04
Arnt tornado rims heavy as sin?
davey1991
Arnt tornado rims heavy as sin? Tornado's are the lighter of the few halo make. Combats and SAS are heavier than lead.

Matthew62
I've just ordered a set of Pro 2's on Mavic En521's with black DT swiss comp spokes with the hubs in Gunsmoke. Should be a pretty nice set of strong but light wheels, also a good price for a complete wheelset.
davey1991
I've just ordered a set of Pro 2's on Mavic En521's with black DT swiss comp spokes with the hubs in Gunsmoke. Should be a pretty nice set of strong but light wheels, also a good price for a complete wheelset. I had almost that exact setup, same colour hubs and everything, awesome setup.
