STEVE-0
Hi Guys, I'm going to try a water/anti-freeze bleed with the Echo SL rim brake...anyone else tried this?? Wanted to know a good combination i.e. 1 part water, 1 part anti-freeze? Cheers, Steve
Revolver
Perhaps 1/4 antifreeze 3/4 water? The antifreeze will have some mixing instructions on the side, follow those!

mods
Is it really a good idea using this in an echo brake?
Revolver
Is it really a good idea using this in an echo brake? The brake takes the same type of oil as a magura, mineral, and a magura is proven to work with water/antifreeze mix. Although that's not to say it won't leak, but I think the newer echo brakes are better for not leaking, providing you clear any swarf from the master cylinder. Mark W
Bearing in mind you only get about 25ml or so of fluid in a brake, I'd imagine whether you've got 4ml, 6ml, 8ml or whatever ml of antifreeze in there isn't much of a clincher either way really.
