Spoke Tension Gauges?

Pretty much as title says, thinking about getting the Park Tools one but is the benifit worth the price?

How often do you build wheels? And do you build them 'professionally' or just for yourself?

Building I don't do very much but are they useful for trueing? I assume it's better having spokes the same tension rather than loosing to straighten it but then having loose spokes. I'm reasonably awful at trueing and would like to have it to make me feel 'safer' doing it. And it will just be for myself, nothing professional

Once a rim has been bent the spoke tensions required to make a wheel true again won't necessarily be even, so if it's just for truing wheels for yourself I wouldn't bother. If you're going to be building a lot of wheels for other people or if you fancy some perfection and have the funds then it's a pretty cool gadget to have available though

I wouldn't bother in that case - they aren't particularly useful for truing.
