Mikee
All of a sudden my backwheel is flexing sideways a hell of alot more then usual and It is buckling really easy (I had to straighten it twice while I had a play on a pavement outside my house). Spokes are nice and tight and I can't get my head around what's wrong. Any Ideas? Help would be much appreciated.
Mikee
If it helps... it's what I believe to be a try-all rim on a hope pro 2 hub .
Matt Burrows
Snapped axle would be the first thing to look for

rab shropshire
have you checked the spokes are not over tensioned, tight spokes doesnt necessarely mean a strong build

Matt Burrows
Checked the axle already and it's fine. How did you check it? Is the wheel actually going out of true or is it just moving and flexing about? Could be the frame flexing due to a crack, or maybe a crack on the hubshell? Is that good enough or will I have to take the axle out? Both. It is flexing side to side and going out of true really easy. Frame I was using isn't cracked but it is flexy but it only just started happening middle of last week after a year and a half of use with no problems. I will give the rim and hub shell a really good inspection later on.
