Tensile 60 Click Springs And Pawls.

Recommended Posts

I've taken my Tensile 60 click freewheel apart because it sounded like only two of the pauls(correct word?) were engaging (witch was right) but i found that there were 3 shorter springs and 3 longer springs and i dont understand how to put the short ones into place or if there ment to be long but its just coincidental that 3 have snapped?

Also, when i put it back together what grease should i use? - WD40, copper grease (or should this only be used on threads), motocycle chain lube' (the sticky stuff, which can stand high temp's)

Laurence.

All sorted, found my old 60 click and took the springs out of that. What lube Should i be using when i put it back together?

EDIT: I've got WD40, DX11a sticky motor cycle grease/ lube that can cope with high temp's, Copper grease, this random really thick green grease, and a few others.

Third time lucky.

I love trials forum, there should be more of this, there used to be more of this, why has everyone stopped putting the same answer over and again, it's that stupid validation system bring back the old validation system so that we can have more of this again
