Rockman
Should I keep my Magura on the front or upgrade to disc and if disc what model and rotor etc Edited July 22, 2010 by Rockman
AkuskaUK
Should I keep my Magura on the front or upgrade to disc and if disc what model and rotor etc try not to have big bold text mate, but i would stay with the Maguras untill you can afford a decent front disk, i have a Tektro Auriga Comp disk on the front and it is very sharp. Spend time looking about for a decent brake, visit tartybikes for a selection of disks. They even have Magura Louise front disk

Tom Canham
Hey. Ive heard from a few people that the avid bb7 is a really good cable disk to use. Mates have told me because i want to upgrade to front disk aswell. So i think that you should get a front disk. I have my maguras on the front. But i dont think there that good. p_ruskin
Keep front mag and get some decent pads, it will always be better than a disk

Keeping on top of your grind always helps.
craigjames
Magura for ultimate bite and hold with the right set up. However a well set up disc can be awesome and give better modulation, i found when i had a BB7 id was just a bit too tempremental.

sandeeebeach219
I say you should convert to front disc brake. I have a front magura on the front at the moment, and its amazing, but disc brakes are so much sharper. many of my friends have front disc brakes on their bikes and they never brake, unlike maguras which always need fixed in my experience. anusthegreat
It doesn't rly matter wether u got a rim or disk brake on the front end of your bike if you're a starter: the brake system just must work fine. When u "grow up" in trials, you will be able to decide which kind of braking power you prefer: disk modulation or maggie stiffness. Also, my choice is front disk brake. If you decide upgrading to it - Hope mono trials or Avid BB7 are the only options available for trials using.

I dont know why you keep lieing sandy, you have a monty 219alp and only have a rear magura, you have a monty v-brake and have changed to a hayes stroker ryde disc brake, which you said was S**T before you got it . fseoer2010
I am new here. I found this forum since I looked for ghd hair straighteners which I heared from a English friend. She told me many good english forums. And this forum is one of them . I like this forum. There are lots of useful informaiton here.
Alexthelyons
Somehow I don't think hair straighteners and trials biking are linked... My mate (mentioned earlier) has snapped 2 cables for his bb7 in less than a week. Don't know why that happened, but I'm not sure about cable discs
