Ben Swales
I'm not going to have time to do the translation of the article by next week as I'm in training all day today with work and then off to London to see the Queen some friends, but thought it was worth posting up here. Here's a cool video of the French Championship in Val d'Isere this weekend just gone. It went out on national telly in France which is pretty cool! Shame about Gilles' hair though... CalopS
Thanks for sharing Ben! The sections, especially the water one look super hard.
3dd
It's great that they show this stuff if France. But quality was terrible! Looks like Gilles did a good job out there, again!
Ben Swales
I didn't think the quality was that bad? Do you mean th eimage quality or the quality of the actual show? i thought the dice section looked pretty tricky too, bet they were well slippery! 3dd
Video quality was poor, is there a reason? I know this video is more for public rather than trials-people. Although I don't speak frech so no Idea what the guy was talking about in the interview. Amazingly technical and realy high stages. Gilles is setting realy high standards for rest of the riders. Would be nice to see some propper comp footage! What is Naff naff naff in French? Excuse me for my french. Ben Swales
I'm afraid I haven't got time for a proper reply at the moment - I'll let Chimpy or Canard answer that if they're about. Not sure about the quality - have you checked to see if HD is switched on? Otherwise I can't help you I'm afraid...
