Joe O'Connor
I did that years ago, was about a 5 foot drop on to grass though, and my head connected first. I did something like that. But it was not on a trials bike, and it was a big jump and I gave my self a concision (also knocked out cold for 10min!).

monty madness
sounds like it hurts. I cant seem to picture what you're trying to do. what's a side bunny hop? i was on a thin wall, stoped, balaced for a few seconds then jumped off sideways.. asif i was doing a bunny hop but jumping sideways at the same time.. but instead of the full bike going sideays just me an the front end did lol.. so the back whel stayed on the wall and me and the front end never lol Edited July 22, 2010 by monty madness

Tom Canham
Sounds bad, i remember when i went onto a small rock on the back wheel and when i went to drop off it i got my foot caught in the chainstay and fell off, sort of over the handlebars. In the end i broke my elbow. could not ride for about a month.

thispartisrequired
I think everyone has a knee stem interface every now and then. I did the same thing you did when leaving a wall except I took the bars to my pelvis, moved a lock on grip up the bar, stopped me walking pretty good too.
