Leistonbmx
Backing up your music next time. Download itunes again. Rather than connecting straight from itunes. Pretty sure it'll ask if you wanna save the stuff on the ipod to itunes library. Mine used to do that.

l33th3tr33
I use a program called anapod copygear. find a torrent with a keygen and you're sorted. transfers quite quickly too.
articrider65
You can set your ipod so you can drag music from any computer without syncing. Tick the box on the picture (manually manage Music and Videos) .... Then drag music from your Library to your device! Couldnt be easier! dannytrialskid
My iPod doesn't connect unless I have iTunes installed. Reinstall iTunes and it should connect.

ManxTrialSpaz
blah blah blah blah blah Seriously, your best bet would be to get a program like anapod copygear or what I use, CopyTrans. They usually have a cost but it's around the $15 mark; it's not bank breaking. I can't speak for anapod but CopyTrans will copy all of your music from your ipod and put it back into the iTunes library along with playlist + play count info - your iTunes will be identical to how it was during your last iPod sync.
