monty-james
Hey, what would you say is an average sized side-hop for someone who has been riding for around a year (with major breaks)? Ive just started doing about 3 ft side-hops. Thanks, James.
How Original
That mean 3 foot high but with a side hop included, or a 3 foot gap?...
Cahill Trials Kid
That mean 3 foot high but with a side hop included, or a 3 foot gap?... what are on about and i wouldnt really say there was an average, everyone improves at different speeds, and some people might practise sidehops alot, and some might not practise them at all. How Original
I'm "on about"... Did he do a 3foot gap sideways, or a 3foot high side hop.

monty-james
I'm "on about"... Did he do a 3foot gap sideways, or a 3foot high side hop. Hey, im talking about a 3 foot high side hop
Matt Vandart
LOL side hops. Long side hops and high side hops...................... I would say 3ft is about average if not a bit worse than average for high side hops to front wheel esp on a stock. I would also say a 3ft long side hop is pretty decent. Revolver
That mean 3 foot high but with a side hop included, or a 3 foot gap?... People hardly ever do 3foot sideways gaps. It just means going up things sideways.
Alex Dark
3ft = 36" used to be a fair sized.....since the old TGS revolution that seems pretty small now, the average rider nowadays can do about 40ish I thinks?
craigjames
I'm "on about"... Did he do a 3foot gap sideways, or a 3foot high side hop. Several posts you've made haven't been overly well thought out. How many people do you know inch count side hopping a gap? I'm guessing 3 foot is about right. Although some people *cough* me *cough* can't sidehop for toffee.
monty-james
Better get practicing to reach about 40" then
Ben John-Hynes
I'm "on about"... Did he do a 3foot gap sideways, or a 3foot high side hop. Well he said sidehop, so I presume he means a sidehop?
PeanuckleJive
is that 3 foot on the TF tape measure or a regular one?
Krisboats
I can do over 40" and i never do sidehops. Think i've done around 20 in my entire riding lifetime (upwards at least). Surely the average has to be above that?
monty-james
LMFAO! Who the f**k let this dweeb through the validation system?! Hmm, just curious? No need to be harsh really. I see that its a bit of a "nooby" question now that ive posted it but i was just hoping for a wee bit of help...
