chris4stars
i personally found the video quite comprehensive...explaining most things i felt you need to know?! as for getting higher, if you already have the ideal technique - get some more explosive strength in your legs
Cundog123
ok,thanks for the video, i think that i could do bigger sidehops if i just pulled up more and jumped more,or some times i will land on the object that i have sidehoped on but then all of a sudden my back tire would fall of the edge so i think that i will tilt my bars and lean more over when i land on the pallets. thanks matt. monty-james
Be more confident really, i only just realised i could side hope alot bigger than i expected. I was usually side hoppe about 1-1.5 ft but i was like, theres only one way to see how big i can get, i tried a wall that was about 2-3 ft and did it after two or three attempts. Its all about confidence in yourself, preloading and the energy in your legs in my opinion.
MiuSliS
The challenge comes when you get to ~3.5ft. That's when you really need to get a technique.

p.grom
from videos like world record bunnyhop(sidehop) 142cm i cannot tell if they are applying rear brakes... if yes, is it locked throughout until landing, or when do they let go of brakes? Is there any difference between side&overs and sidehops.
