PeanuckleJive
I'm loving my dell, I've had it since just after christmas and the only problem I ever had was that the left mouse button collapsed and stopped working. But to be honest that could just have been through over-zealous tapping when drunk. They came out and fixed it within 3 days, sorted. It's always been able to run anything I've installed with ease and never crashed (that I can remember) You do get good value with dell, for sure. Sometimes computer companies put on deals for students, have a look around for those too because you can get some good deals on stuff with that
steve g
if you want a dell factory second/ refurb/ cancelled order, then get it direct from dell: http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dfo& i got mine for about half the retail, and have been very happy with it. i recommend you keep your eyes on it for a few weeks till you see the right one at the right price, as they seem to vary massively.
