It doesn't matter now, if the bolt is bottoming out on the end of the BB axle, the splines in the crank are knackered and it needs replacing.

Putting a spacer in now will only hold the crank arm back off the BB so it'll actually be even looser than before.

the splines are perfect. its the bb spacer that has been, indented, so the crank arm moves more in on the bb axle.

no way could you take it off by hand!

i will see if i can borrow james crank tool, if i ask him nicely... i think i may try the handle bar thing! that sounds really good! but not my bmx ones they were bloody 65 quid :L

How do,

put a toilet roll around the crank arm when its loose and knock it off with a hammer, wont damage the arm then.

Out of interest, what cranks are they? Sorry if i missed this already.

This happened to my echo SL's, put a spacer behind and havent had to look at them since .

its okay mate, ive sorted it now, i need a new bb.

and they are zoo cranks.

yeah its a pain in the arse :@ lol
