gage-mann
sand a thin layer off the pads and try the brake with out a booster if that dont work try give your rim a harsher grind? When your pads are set up perfectly to your rim, you get noise either way you spin the wheel.
Greetings
I get this after grinds. Lots of bite but no hold. I think it's something to do with how you grind the rim, I'm rubbish at it.

Mark W
but maybe it needs time for a new rim They could be worn at a slight angle due to your previous rim, so now they need to wear to the shape/angle of your new rim? Give them a little while though, I'm sure they'll improve

forteh
The grind will need time to bed in aswell
aener
The grind will need time to bed in aswell This. I always used to overlook it, but it really does happen. Pad's'll bed in within a ride if you move them about, normally, but a grind can take quite a few rides to start working properly.
