Are there any riders willing to tech a complete newbie? I live in cleckheaton west yorkshire and want to start trials.

I'm buying Reflex Psycho Jump bike as my first bike couse i dont wanna break an expensive bike while lerning basics.

i got a broken hand now and wont be able to do anything till middle of august as i have to wait 8 weeks for my rehab to finish then i can start.

also are there any good spots to practice more advanced techniques? i know there is a bmx track on the spenbrough swimming pool and another one on the spen valley if you go bradford way just on the other side of the bridge.

dont really know anything about what trials bike should be like but mum says i cant spend more then 140 on it ;/ and i want a 26" one because i want to use it for ordinary riding aswell

do u think it would be good enough for start?

Well if that's your budget (which I'm afraid isn't a great deal) you're best off waiting 'til you get validated and picking up a second hand one on here.

I'd also suggest getting a 20" to learn on. They're widely accepted (though not always) as being really really easy to pick up the basics on you see.

The one you linked to looks really ill suited to trials, looks like it weighs a ton too!

then i got a little problem to solve think i will buy this one then upgrade it slowely couse my mum doesnt want me do trials to much otherwise she would give me better funds ;/

i know it weights a ton but i dont think thats not too big problem for trackstands and bunnyhops. gonna have to work on my strenght and stamina a lot though :(

…think i will buy this one then upgrade it slowely…

There's nothing on that bike that you'd keep for trials, you'll end up replacing everything and starting with a whole new bike.

I picked up my first trials second hand for £145, you should try the same.

Is your mum paying for it all? Have you not got any of your own cash to use/put toward one?

gonna check it later. still got about a month till my hand gets better so i might find somewhat better even if i will change the whole bike part by part later on ( which i probably gonna do :) like with my last one ) atleast im not gonna sell the parts like i did last time so i got a spare bike if it breaks / gets stolen

when i get it would you teach me the basics i read all the info on trashzen but its still better to haver someone showing and watching u
