Matt Vandart
What do you think of them? How crack happy are they. anyone got one of these? click to see what I am on a bout
Muel
The old ones were not strong at all. In fact everyone I know who had one cracked or snapped it within a few months. New design though, who knows, maybe they're suddenly a lot stronger...
isitafox
Seems a bit weird that the dropout spacing is 116mm on a stock? Do any other manufacturers do that?
MiuSliS
Deng also made 116 stock frames.
craigjames
I can't imagine it being any better than the older frames. It's ridiculously light and says it's designed only for people with a smooth style not good signs for the whole strength credentials. Plus the geo is a little odd. Cheap though. Dale-Hill
But it\\\'s not strong enough for street.It\\\'s design for the riders who had smooth style.
Matt Vandart
Thanks for the replies dude. I hardly ever ride street and am smooth but I am really after opinions from people that have had/have one to find out how strong they really are.Information on how long people have owned one and how much it has been riden would be cool.. I am not very sure of the properties of magnesium especially for use as a frame material.
Simpson
If you scowl at it it will snap.
Skoze
The old ones were not strong at all. In fact everyone I know who had one cracked or snapped it within a few months. Even Jon Mack. This is all the proof you ever need of their strength, or rather lack of.
craigjames
Didn't Rowan manage to snap his forks in a few days, both legs clean off at the weld to the steerer tube.
Matt Vandart
How long have they been manufactureing for, I know very little or nothing about this manufacturer
Muel
Think they started in 2007/2008. Their stuff is easily the weakest available. As Skoze said even JonMack cracked his, and he is the skinniest guy I've ever known. He's also stupidly smooth.
