Hey guys,

Selling my frame soon, and with part of the money im going to buy a freewheel.

Im stuck between 2 (as always :giggle: )

These 2 are: the Echo SL 108, or the Tensile 96-click.

What one is stronger, more reliable, just better altogether.

Need help guys, and explain why the one you choose is better.

Thanks everybody (Y)

I got the Tensile 96 click for about £50 new off ebay, runs beautifully. No probs with it at all.

The SL is a hell of a lot better than the Tensile. Higher quality, better system, more solid/precise engagement, more reliable, longer-lasting. They're literally better in every way. Everyone here runs them - Ali's is over 16 months old now.

If you end up going for the 96-click, remember to flush it out with some GT-85 or put some thin lube in there. They come with some slightly thicker grease as standard which makes them slightly more prone to skipping, which in turn shortens the freewheel's lifespan.

i ran a tensile before i got a king, have to say was the best freewheel i ever used, used it for about a year and has never skipped. like mark said flush it out and put some light lube in the freewheel and you can get spares if youll need them.
