streetrider2k10
Hello people of Trials-Forum. A few weeks back, I purchased some Heatsink Yellow CNC backings for my Onza vee brake, with a fresh grind. At first, they were set up wrong, so they wore down at quite an angle! I have set them up perfect now. They are so loud, its insane. Now for the bad part. They have barely any hold. When I pedal kick onto the edge of the pavement, it just slides back, i pull it really hard aswell. I have no clue on what to do as I don't know alot about trials. So how do I prevent the brake from slipping? Thanks to everybody that can help. Grant. Edited July 11, 2010 by streetrider2k10
Skwirsky
They aren't holding, because the area of contact with rim is smaller than normal. Grind or cut your pads straight to a correct angle, set up your brake right and it should be better. You can also grind your rim again, because HSB yellows hold much better on a fresh grind.
