Sam T Posted July 10, 2010 Report Share Posted July 10, 2010 Hey guys, Basically, i got a new camera, Panasonic VDR-D160. It takes 8" mini dvd disk. I had to download a VLC Player to actually play the footage, But when i try and convert it into Windows Movie Maker nothing appears. Im guessing this is because of it being in the wrong format? If so, does anybody know of a online video converter or something along them sort of line? One more thing, does anyone know what format it has to be in so that WMM can support it? PeanuckleJive Posted July 10, 2010 Report Share Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) The only time I've had to use VLC player was for some .mkv files I downloaded, All I know about MKV is that it's the best container for HD video these days, Is your camera HD? They might not even be MKV, so I don't know why I'm rambling on.... I use a program called SUPER developed by erightsoft for all my conversions but it's a bit complicated to explain.
