Big Ben
Hi Guys...I've been thinkin about ridin plastic pedals instead of my try-all caged pedal I haven't really thought about it properly until yesterday when I sliced my leg open, when I slipped off my pedal. So wat do you guys think...And should I ride them or not And if soo, what plastics should I get ???? Thanks guys Ben
rab shropshire
there are people on here that do ride plastic pedals, but unfortunately shin digs are just a side effect of trials riding keep your caged and get some shin pads
raoulduke
I agree with 'rab' especially if you're as big as your name suggests! Shin pads are definitely the way to go. Raoulduke

So wat do you guys think...And should I ride them or not And if soo, what plastics should I get ???? Thanks guys Ben Hey Buddy! I'd say its down to what you like best! I have always ridden with a double cage pedal and as the others said 'shin digs' are just going to happen! Give the plastic ones a go and see how you get on with them, You can always go back to the metal ones hey! L
Big Ben
Thanks for the help guys I'm gonna give the odyssey PC's a go, and if they don't go to well, I'll switch back to my Try-All's.
TomG
When I first got on my bike I cut my shin a lot, but after a few days it never happened again. I'd suggest giving them a go.
