Ali C
Yo folks A few weeks ago Stan and Myself were asked to help with a promotional vid showcasing Lee Quarrys range of riding. It's mostly XC stuff, but half way through the trials gets in on the action. enjoy singletrackworld new longer one with interviews
Nick Manning
Good video, that place looks amazing for all types of riding. Thought quarry looked more suited to jump and dH bikes than xc bikes. Would love to go there one day and take the trials and xc bikes.
Mark W
A lot of the loops are quite... "manicured" in a way, so a hardtail or short travel full susser should mean you can ride everything and have a pretty good time. A DH bike would probably be a little over-kill there, although there are some off-piste type drops and lines you can do. If you want to do them you'll have to wait your turn for the fashion DH kids with their emo photographers to get the money shot of them doing a turn-bar off the drops before you can give it a pop... Plenty of other trials bits there too. The video only really showed two of the little sections, and there's loads more. Keep finding even more by going around and exploring slightly further afield - it's all good.
Ali C
yeah, my 5" travel bike seems overkill there, I did do one black "run" on my brakeless inspired lol. But yeah, the trials stuff is pretty rad and that pump track is addictive!
Mark W
I unintentionally did part of the black run on my Inspired too. Was "interesting", 'specially 'cos I didn't really know what was going on at the time apart from "Oh, there's a drop there. I can't stop..."
