Franksx2005
Does anyone know if tarty have any warrenty with there freewheels, i got an echo sl freewheel of them on the 22 of march and its started slipping. Its only had light use so surely it shouldnt be slipping in 3 months. I see onzaboymark talking of a dodgey batch on a thread, i wonder if tartys had some of them? Al_Fel
I'm going to go out on a limb and say check your chain and rear cog because I doubt your freewheel is skipping.

N.Wood
Arent the lockrings like welded on ? good one No, and you can spray GT-85 through them to clean them out with the lockring still on.
Mark W
I see onzaboymark talking of a dodgey batch on a thread, i wonder if tartys had some of them? We didn't, as I said in that thread. They do have a warranty, but it might be worth flushing it out with GT-85, checking the rest of your setup, etc. before trying to get it warrantied as - with that freewheel in particular - they don't tend to skip at all. If it continues to skip after checking it over then by all means send it back, but it might save time to have a look at it first

315r
This is the first Echo SL free-wheel that I know that skip. I have one and after 3 months still works perfect and sounds amazing. I going to follow this topic. Please Franksx2005 post anything that you'll do with this free-wheel and if it continue skipping after service. Thanks. Greetings
I see onzaboymark talking of a dodgey batch on a thread, i wonder if tartys had some of them? If they did, you'd no longer have your front teeth. Fact. DO NOT under any circumstances spray GT85 or WD40 into a freewheel, you'll f**k it up completely. Paperclip
max T has a sl freewheel, we had a good 20 mins talking about it and aparently all it dose is skip.... Can you buy spare's for them? or even could you send the freewheel back too you boy's at tart and get a service as you can with a hope and what not? also I can see where the spreying wd40 into the freewheel might take out the lube as its a de-greaser however gt85 isnt too bad, if you was too do this just once a week quickly just running over the freewheel and chain also after riding in the wet/sandy conditions gt85 works pretty sweet for me. however they'll be 1000's of riders who have freewheels that are dry as and they have no problems. depending on the rear sprocket as stated above you can have skipping due to warn down sprockets or even sometimes the wrong lenth BB so the chainlines out. He said it skipped, sent me a vid.Ii received the freewheel back yesterday and the freewheel is mint, no skips at all. He must have something else wrong with his setup.
