i was going to get a new rear wheel to make my bike look how i want :) i was thinking of getting these parts just want to know if there any good or has anyone had trouble with them before i buy them.

hub: Echo TR Rear 2010

rim:DOB Magnesium Rear 19" (white)

spokes:Trialtech Plain Gauge 19/20" (white)

as you may see im going with a white theme this is a rear wheel build as you can see and when i have spare money get all the same parts for the front.

any help would be great.

I'm running the TR rear sprocket at the mo, not had any problems with it so I guess that's a vote for that :)

I bet you can't go wrong with the trialtech spokes, spokes are just spokes after all!

From what I've read, the DOB rims aren't that good and don't hold a grind for long either

well i never grind rims anyway so do the rims slip alot then or they just not strong?

I'm sure I've heard they're not too strong either, I might be wrong though

I've never owned any, so I can't say from personal experience.

I HAVE owned the echo TR rear rim, and I'm loving it! So there's an alternative if the DOB rims do get bad reviews :)

if your liking that rim i guess the sl one be as good then i do think it is a very nice looking rim.

The SL will be a lot lighter too, I'm not sure on how strong they are though.

Generally speaking, the lighter it is, the weaker it is.

If you're a smooth rider, go for it. I'm not so I just went for the cheaper TR

I did want an SL though, they are a bit sexy...

If you only get a little money then you may aswell go for the TR, it's cheaper and you won't feel the weight difference at all. Sometime it only takes a badly timed simple move to ruin your rim, so you could find yourself replacing the more expensive SL just as often, Tis your call though what you buy I guess

I've only had the TR hub a few months, riding quite a lot or both natural and street, never had a problem with it

but then again, not much can go wrong with a fixed rear hub except the bearings!
