Sam T
When i was coming back from Australia i took a Xbox with me as hand luggage. They were fine, they do all sorts of security checks on it though. I was flying with Quantas if thats any help? You should be alright. Hope this helped, Sam

Luke Dunstan
i just realized it is 4 kg You'll be fine, keeping in mind you can only take one bag onto the plane, and i'm pretty sure it's a 6kg weight limit.
Hannah Shucksmith
Ryanair allow up to 10kg per passenger of cabin baggage. As they've done with my laptops and other large electrical items they'll probably dust it for any traces of anything illegal and give it a separate scan. Luke Dunstan
There is also a size limit, not just weight.
