Matt Vandart
Well then how much?
Muel
80-100g on a stock rear rim. Worth it IMO. Took about 20 mins with a grinder for me to do my old one!
rab shropshire
could someone post up a pic of where to cut
Muel
Use a cutting disc and cut between the holes (on a try-all rim), so it comes out in pieces, then use a grinding disc to tidy it up.

Muel
did you just use a normal 6" grinder Nah I have a 4.5" and a 5", not sure which I used. Makes no difference though really.
Matt Vandart
What about a mod rim more specifically is it worth mr single walling my ONZA 128? Bareing in mind I run dd
3dd
Not worth it. It will be way too weak! You won't even feel the difference and it will be stong. 128's are only about 50g heavier than a single walled anyway.
Matt Vandart
Thats what I was thinking, any ideas why they don't sell em any more? Mine is well good. I think I will not piss about and just get a ONZA pro diamond or whatever it's called, anyone know of any issues with disc brakes and this rim? 3dd
I think it's because it was the 09 range. There is Onza pro series, that is replacing it. I have 128 on a stock and it's light and icredibly strong too!
