3dd
If the grind is harsh or fresh it will make the brake worse with tar. Just get some Tnn's on a light grind like me and it will be sweet! Stop respraying it and ride it already!

stunt man t
Orange is alright but now I've seen the green one....mate why did you change?!! Fluro orange next time eh it was pretty badly scratched so i thought id strip it and give it a fresh look ive got a colour in mind for when i do it again.... its just like getting a new bike, as i get bored pretty quick i no i shouldnt but i love the smell of spray paint If the grind is harsh or fresh it will make the brake worse with tar. Just get some Tnn's on a light grind like me and it will be sweet! Stop respraying it and ride it already! ive rebled the brake in the bath and its epic God dam looks so nice, can't decide if i like it more than the green though. defo orange, with that rim tape

nickdonboy
Excuse-me, I'm not agree with this... I use both and hold awesome. But the point in a grind is for the brake to work in wet, muddy, gritty conditions. When you wet tar it turns like lubeeeee. So he's right, there's no point. May as well have a smooth rim. Moreover, for me, brake holds better with grind rim in all conditions, wet and dry. I'm agree with you that tar in wet conditions it turns like lube but in dry conditions grind with tar it's the best choice. Obviously in wet conditions you don't have to put tar. And now we can continue speaking about the bike, I don't want ruin the topic speaking about tar. Edited June 30, 2010 by 315r
