Dan Clark
Hey guys, slightly noobish of me here (especially seeing as I did a TPA bodge years ago and can't remember what I did), but how do you do the TPA bodge? I've just got hold of an 04 lever with a knackered TPA and haven't managed to work out how to fix it, I've looked at the wiki page on it written by Mark but all the photos are down so it makes it fairly useless. Any help?
Mark W
Just gotta take the blade off, push the TPA gubbins out, get the sheared bit off and run an M5 (I think?) bolt down through the blade and into the TPA block itself. You can get all artfag with it and make it a more suitable shape and size and so on, but I found that just banging a reet good bolt in there worked nicely. AlexxRogers
You take the red tpa wheel off. Then take the lever off, take out the part the screws into the square section that holds the red tpa wheel. Put your lever back together. Then put a bolt through the square threaded section. I think. Dan Clark
I'll go try it out, I forgot the remove TPA gubbins section, and assumed it involved being all artfag about it.
