Hi everyone,

I am looking for a good bike to start trials on and this bike caught my eye. Is starting trials on a 24" harder? also is the zoot a good bet?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Simon

It depends on what sort of trials you're looking at doing, back when I first started, 24" trials was nearly unheard of, but a lot of street riders are using them now.

I found this on the Onza site, it may help. it's going to be biased as its from there own site, but i've not ridden one, and they are pretty new out, so i doubt many people will have one yet.

Generally Onza are a good make to go for when first starting out.

"For 2010 Onza re enter the 24” market with a vengeance. Carefully researched over a couple of years this model represents many hours of hard work and testing. The 24” market is a rapidly growing segment which many feel is a great combination of both Trials and BMX. Less unwieldy

than a 26” Stock bike and more street friendly than a 20” Mod bike. Some exponents of the class and style of 24” sreet riding are making great headway with their U Tube videos and interest in the genre is growing fast. The Zoot is a great, flicky bike with true trials geometry but the style of an oversized BMX. Great attention to detail has made it a new start up in the range with many unique components and features. Starting with the alloy frame, with horizontal drop outs and disc mounts and Onza forged headtube The frame has built in pivotal seat fitting and the geometry is well researched. Special 24” front fork which has disc mounts and correctly positioned vee brake mounts for 24” wheels."
