NickRock
Me attempting a side hop on a cheap kids bike (dirt-jumper(ish) geometry). Am I leaning forward too much? I can't seem to push the handlebars away, so I find it quite hard to get the rear wheel any higher.

dannytrialskid
To do a sidehop you actually need to be next a wall. Take a picture or video yourself which would be better of you doing a sidehop onto something. This will make it easier for us to give you feedback. If not go here: WRITTEN TUTORIAL: http://trashzen.com/sidehop-in-biketrial.php VIDEO TUTORIAL:

TROYston
There is no need to be nasty, not everyone starts on a trials bike. I reckon maybe getting a pic of you next to a wall will help. Great camera quality though.
Luke Dunstan
There is no need to be nasty, not everyone starts on a trials bike. That's true, when i started i was using a Raleigh Urban Swamp with triple clamps Going from that to a trials bike, made a huge difference.
