isitafox
Does anyone know of any good instructional vids or just good vids to pic up tips off with riders on mods? Managed a quick half hour before work on mine but still struggling a bit as I've never seen anyone ride one in person so not really got anything to go off and all the vids I see on youtube tend to be either too advanced for me at the moment or they flick from one clip to another so quick you cant get a good look at how stuff is done! pogo
Couldn't you just go to a ride and watch other people in person? Would be easier as you could actually ask questions and they could watch you try stuff and give you advice.
isitafox
No one really round my area who rides at all never mind on a mod, and cause I work odd shifts I can't make it to rides nearby like matlock quarry as I work most weekends and get days off in the week. Like today would be perfect day for a ride but I'm on 8-7 and then back workin at 6am tomorrow so can't really go out after work! It's a right pain in the arse!! Captain Scarlet
http://www.trashzen.com/ Is a little bit dated picture and video wise, but just about every technique and move is on there (aside from really techy stuff like frenchies). As for instructing, you can be taught the move but getting bigger is something that no-one can teach and only you can do yourself.
Dušan
there is not difference in trial techniques on mod/stock its all the same....in my opinion try to download (legal ofcourse ) or go youtube and type in Ryan Leech mastering the art of trial (the thing you want to learn for example pedal kick) It doesnt matter if you ride mod or stock the difference is maybe in hmm pedal ups... cause you dont need that much pedal strokes on stock like on mod (mine opinion ) but i dont see any difference maybe that mod riders use thier bashplate so much which is so lame in my opinion Edited June 20, 2010 by Dušan

Duncy H
My two mates will come on their two mods, and I previously rode mod a lot. Only just finishing my stock this week which is the mod replacement. We will do our best to give you a few pointers if we meet up
