Laurence--Trials
First of all, Bars: I'm coming from Onza T-master flat bars, (Width 725mm, Total Rise 54mm, Upsweep 13deg) and thinking of going to: Echo TR Bars (Width 740mm,Ttotal Rise74mm, Upsweep 7deg, Backsweep 6deg) or Trial Tech sport Riser Bar (Width 740mm, Total rise 88mm, Upsweep 10deg, Backsweep 10deg I want to have a green, silver and black colour scheme on my bike witch is why i want to go for the echo TR Riser bar and because there light, but i'm wondering if ill really notice the difference in Geo from the bars i have now to the echo TR's because there doesnt seem to be that much difference in the Geo, hence why i was thinking about the Trial Tech sport bar. Pedals: What i'm looking for in the pedals is platform, strength, lightness, colour - (maybe) I'm coming from Onza VP caged pedals (witch are bent and scratched to f**k) and probably going to Echo TR pedal's (Green for the nice little colour scheme again) Think this is a good choice or not? Thanks - Laurence. Ps. sorry for the essay Edited June 17, 2010 by Laurence--Trials

dann2707
+1 for dmr v8's. So grippy its awesome but be aware of them cracking your shins. They've taken a chunk out of my lower shin, just where my shin pads end

Mark W
Echo TR platforms feel about a million percent nicer than DMR V8s, have sealed bearings and come in nicer colours too. Just sayin'. As a side note, if you're hoping to buy them from us we'll have the full range of colours back in stock in approx. 10 days... For the bars - the Trialtechs feel pretty sweet and have more of a proven track record than TR bars. Obviously every product is new and is sort of unproven at some stage, but if you were concerned about strength it might be something to consider. What do you mean proven track record? Not 100% worried about strength, as i'm not very heavy or hard rider. My only concern is that if i buy the TR bars will i really notice the rise/Geo difference between them and my Onza flat's ?

rab shropshire
of course you will notice the difference as you are moving from flat bars to risers, it will give you a taller front end
Mark W
What do you mean proven track record? As in people's experiences with them. Trialtechs have been out for years (Stan was using the protos for 2 years), and obviously have a lot of people who've used them. TRs have been out for about 6 months at most, and so not as many people will have used them. You'll most definitely notice the difference in bars. I don't know of anyone who's had anything but positives from changing to risers from flats.
