Matt Vandart
I got a Limey 3 frame and was wondering if the built in booster is any good on it's own. I am currently running it with a TNN ultimate shnizzle and there is NO flex at all. This made me think that maybe the built in booster is good enough. I am fed up of sitting on the booster and the TNN clamps themselves are utter shite, I think they are made of cheese. Before anyone rips in, I tried doing them the way that Lee does on the vid but they just did not hold the pistons in place, so I had to ram the booster end bolts tight, maybe this is because the set up is so stiff on this frame (Something has to give with 1500 psi pressing on it) or maybe its because I am a goon that is used to tightening up 2"+ bolts up. craigjames
I run a maggy on the rear of mine with no issues, my mate Ben runs a vee on his and its awesome and I know Andrei and Joe Seddon never run boosters on theirs and I've never heard them complain about a lack of stiffness. Mine feels solid, certainly never thought about running a booster that's for sure.
